Top 10 ways to fall in love again

Submitted on Wednesday, 6 January 2010No Comment

Are you looking for the spark that you once had when you fell in love? There are many who are just like you! Being together with your partner would give you that comfort and security that everyone needs. However, because you are getting too relaxed with each other, the love spell that you were used to be under gradually wears off.

Tips to fall in love

Tips to fall in love

How about trying some of these tips to ignite the flame that you once had? These ideas are not just fun, effective, but very simple as well.

1. Give something unique

Remember how kids used to melt their parents’ hearts away by drawing stick figures with crayons? How about doing the same thing for your partner? Draw a couple holding hands and name it as Me and You. You can also draw a big heart shape in the middle with the words “I love you” as well. Then get an envelope and try to mail it at your partner’s office stating that the letter requires immediate attention. This is a great surprise especially if they got it during the busiest time at the office.

2. Bring out the child in you

If you happen to walk by a place for kids such as parks or an arcade, try to do something that will take both of you to memory lane. A ride at the swing will not only rekindle the magic but would also bring back all the great times that you had when you were still young.

3. Play with water guns

Summer is a great time to have fun even in your backyard only. Water pistols would not cost you much but you would certainly have a fun time having a water fight together.

4. Different way to offer a relaxing massage

Give it a little twist. Take a small box and fill it with pieces of colored paper or tissue. Put a small bottle of massage oil at the box along with a card that says “Do you want to have an hour or two of R&R? For a great masseur you can contact (insert your number here).”

5. Surprise your partner with the good memories from his/her childhood

Ask a friend or a family member about the things that he/she wished when he/she was still a child. Your partner will appreciate the fact that you took time to know what they really want and would always think of your gift as the most memorable one.

6. Sky gazing

Take some time off by driving in a place where both of you can find tranquility. Bring a basket filled with foods and a blanket where you could just lie down and look at the clouds. Gazing at the sky at day time is also as romantic as star gazing during the night.

7. Take a walk at the beach

While at the beach, get a stick and draw a big heart shape in the sand. Invite your partner to sit inside the heart and wait until the sun creates a romantic ambiance as it sets.

8. Have a night picnic during the summer

Chocolates, snacks, and champagne sounds romantic especially if you set it outside during a warm night. Look at the stars or just cuddle up and let the time pass by.

9. Show gratitude

A simple note that says you are thankful would be enough to melt your partner’s heart away. Do it with flowers if you must.

10. Do something different in bed

The best way to get that spark once again is to spice up your sex life. A simple surprise after lovemaking or offer a sensual massage after would do the trick. Take time to listen or just stare at your partner before you hit the shower.
